We're turning our bodyshop emissions into trees

Dynamic Paint N Panel has joined a locally created emissions reduction program to help offset our carbon emissions. The program, created by BASF Coatings and Carbon Neutral Australia is a local initiative designed to help body repairers reduce the carbon footprint of their operations.

DPP is the first "Carbon Neutral" crash repairer in South Australia

Dynamic Paint N Panel has joined the Glasurit Bodyshop Emissions Program which was formed in partnership with Carbon Neutral Australia, one of Australia’s leading not-for-profit- greenhouse gas emission reduction organisations. Dynamic Paint N Panel makes a contribution based on their output levels, to the tree planting programs.

Dynamic Paint N Panel were proud of the extensive recycling and waste reduction programs that they had incorporated into their business operations. Recycling hundreds of tonnes of steel and aluminium body panels, plastic bumper-bars, glass and waste chemicals between their two sites was already removing a large amount of landfil from local dumps. Recycling is a great way to reduce the environmental impact of a collision repair operation.

During the first few months of 2012, Dynamic Paint N Panel will be incorporating an Environmental Management System into our organisation, so joining up with the Bodyshop Emissions Program made a lot of sense to management.

“It is important for us to know that we are reducing the impact our business has on the environment. The Bodyshop Emissions Program is a way we can make a difference. It’s a way for us to help make a better future for our kids. Basically, the more vehicles we repair, the more trees we help to plant.”

Dynamic Paint N Panel is committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations and ultimately; your vehicle repairs.

Almost every aspect of the automotive industry is bad for the environment. Vehicle repairs require high energy consumption, produce hundreds of tonnes of waste material and generally require toxic chemicals like sealers, adhesives and paints.

Dynamic Paint N Panel strives to reduce the carbon footprint of your vehicle repairs by recycling almost everything our business produces in waste and by committing to use non-toxic or low VOC products.

The staff at DPP are working on some exciting environmental initiatives that will set us apart from the crowd. Watch this space!
